*The family in front of a Macy's display window downtown*Today we started Christmas early and took the lite rail downtown to see the Macy's Christmas Display on the 8th floor. It was very cool. The best part was that we didn't have to wait in line! We got to see all the elves and how they work in Santa's workshop, open the letters from the kids, and even bake gingerbread cookies! And Joe got to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. He was a little nervous at first, but once he saw Santa he spent about 5 minutes telling him all kinds of stories about trains. And on our way home Joe asked to put up the xmas tree...not yet!
