Dang! It was cold for trick-or-treating, 35 degrees. But surprisingly, we've gone when it's been colder. Joe had a great time. He was dressed up like a cowboy, and lost one of his guns somewhere along the way. We had to come up with a quick, warm costume when we realized how cold it was going to be. Otherwise he would have worn his 'Imagination Mover' costume. Maybe one day we will move somewhere warmer...

Nick-or-Treat

Even though Joe has been a little under the weather, we took him to Nick-or-Treat at the Mall of America tonight. He had a great time, but got super tired and had to come home and go right to bed! We're hoping he gets 100% better over the weekend!

Joey & Mover Dave

Joe is dressing up as 'Mover Dave' for Halloween, and he got to meet him at the Imagination Movers concert. How awesome is that?!

We went to the Imagination Movers concert in Sioux Falls with our friends Jayne & Eric and their daughters. The Imagination Movers is Joey's favorite show on the Disney Channel, he watches them everyday! He is dressing up as Mover Dave for Halloween and he wore his costume to the show. We got backstage passes so we could meet the Movers after the show. It was wonderful! When we were taking our pic with them, I told Joe to tell them who his favorite Mover was and he pointed to Mover Dave and said, "I love you, Dave!". And Mover Dave gave him a big hug and they took a picture together. It was so cute! I want to go again! We had a blast!

Movers Concert

Franconia Sculpture Park

We found a fantastic sculpture park near Taylor's Falls, MN. We had a great time exploring all the sculptures. There were even a couple that were like a playground, which Joe really liked. I recommend spending an hour here on a Saturday afternoon.

Pumpkin Train

We took a ride on the 'Pumpkin Express' in Osceola, WI. We rode the train to Dresser, WI, where we went on a hay ride, thru a hay maze, and Joe jumped in the bouncy castles. And he got to pick out his own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.

Art Center

Joe has never been real crazy about coloring and art, so I decided to make him a whole 'Art Center' to try to get him to use his hands more. It worked great! All he wanted to do today was cut with his new scissors and paint. He loves that the drawers are all at his level and he can get out anything he wants. And Dave and I had lots of fun too!

Joe's Creation

Joe made a "Frankenstein Candy Dish" today at Preschool. He also had green paint everywhere! On his hands, shirt, pants, and even his shoes...good thing it all comes out.

New Vehicle

Dave's car died, so we got this Hyundai Tuscon. We love it! I definitely recommend purchasing one.

Snow in October!?!

Snow in October is crazy! But we made the most of it. Joe had a great time sledding down the big hills in our yard. When he first saw the snow out the window he asked if Santa was coming tomorrow, and if we could put up the xmas tree! Crazy kid.

Cold Soccer

Burr! 40 degrees is a little too cold for soccer, but Joe still had a lot of fun. He doesn't really like to kick and score, but he sure loves running and falling!
