Macy's Christmas

*The Macy's Christmas display, "A Day in the Life of an Elf"*

*Telling Santa what he wants for xmas, "a Geo Airport, and a racetrack".*

*Me & Joe in front of the "Caroling Trees"*

*Joe meets Mrs. Claus*

*The family in front of a Macy's display window downtown*

Today we started Christmas early and took the lite rail downtown to see the Macy's Christmas Display on the 8th floor. It was very cool. The best part was that we didn't have to wait in line! We got to see all the elves and how they work in Santa's workshop, open the letters from the kids, and even bake gingerbread cookies! And Joe got to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus. He was a little nervous at first, but once he saw Santa he spent about 5 minutes telling him all kinds of stories about trains. And on our way home Joe asked to put up the xmas tree...not yet!

Model Train Museum

Yesterday Joe and I went to the Twin Cities Model Railroad Museum to check out the trains while Dave was working a the Vikings Game. It only cost $4 and we had an hour and a half's worth of fun. They even had 2 train tables and a train movie to watch! We could've spent all afternoon there. Joe even woke up this morning asking to go again!

Dance

Joe had his preschool dance tonight. We had fun for about 10 minutes, but he didn't take a nap today and he is starting to get a cold, so we left early. But we had a few minutes of fun.

SNOW!

Look at what we woke up to this morning! Snow! We made snow balls. But it all melted already. Maybe we'll get more again this weekend.

Fun Eats

We went downtown for supper last night at The Old Spaghetti Factory. It was Joe's first time there. We got to sit in "Walley the Trolley" and had a super-yummy supper.

Park Playing

A beautiful 70 degree November day, so we spent time outside at the Hyland Park Reserve Play Area. And Joe even was brave enough to climb all the way to the top this time!
