Santa brought gifts

*Joey is excited that Santa brought Legos!*

*Digging in his stocking for more gifts*

*All his new stuff!*

*The favorite toy - an airport set*

We had a great Christmas morning! Joey got all kinds of new toys from Santa. He loved opening every one. He maybe even got too many, he was getting tired of opening towards the end! His favorite toy turned out to be the airport set I picked up at the last minute at the grocery store (of all places!). He will play, play, and play for hours today (then hopefully take a nap!).
Merry Christmas!

Milk & Cookies

Joey left some milk and cookies for Santa!

Snow Day #1

We got our first wave of Christmas snow last night, about 6 inches. So, Dave took Joe out in the yard to sled down the hill. They had a great time and got all wet! We're expecting another foot of snow in the next couple days, so we'll be able to have even more fun outside!

New House

*the patio/front door*

*The front - double garage*

*the back of our house*

We moved into a new house the weekend before Christmas (the perfect time to move!). But, thankfully, we only are about a mile from our other place, so we didn't have to go too far. We are working hard to get everything together for Christmas and ready for Santa to come!

Cookie Night

*Me & my MOM cookie with Joey*

*A few of our creations*

*Joey watching very intently*

*Joey loving the sprinkles*
We had cookie night and baked and decorated all kinds of sugar cookies. Joe got a little crazy with the sprinkles, but we didn't make too big of a mess! Joe would dump out the sprinkles and just eat them! We had lots of fun!

Preschool Xmas Program

*Grandma T & Joey in front of our tree in the new house*

*Joey in front of the Xmas tree at school*

*There's Joey in the back row on the end*

*Daddy & Joey after the show*

Joey had his Christmas program this morning and Grandma T even came to watch him. He did a great job singing! And we all got to eat birthday cake afterwards. Joey was very happy that we all came to watch him.

Hollidazzle Parade

We rode the lite rail downtown to enjoy the Hollidazzle Parade on Nicollet Mall. We got there early so we got seats right on the curb. We warmed up with some hot cocoa and had a great time watching all the lighted floats and people. Joey even wants to go again.

Santa

*Joe telling Santa what he wants for Christmas*

*Dave & Joey by the animals celebrating xmas*

*Joey in front of the workshop where the elves make the toys*

We headed downtown to Macy's today to see Santa. We always go early to beat the crazy crowds. Joe loved Macy's Santaland a lot more than he did last year. We all had a great time getting into the holiday spirit!

Turkey

Here's a turkey Joe put together this morning. I think we'll try to make some Thanksgiving art everyday this week.

Up

We just rented the movie, Up, (which Joe cried 3 times while watching). And I found this promotional prop at work. Joe thinks it's great! He can fit right inside the house!

Halloween!

*Joe got too tired to walk at the end of the night*

*Mommy & Joe bundled up for the cold weather*

*The loot*

Dang! It was cold for trick-or-treating, 35 degrees. But surprisingly, we've gone when it's been colder. Joe had a great time. He was dressed up like a cowboy, and lost one of his guns somewhere along the way. We had to come up with a quick, warm costume when we realized how cold it was going to be. Otherwise he would have worn his 'Imagination Mover' costume. Maybe one day we will move somewhere warmer...

Nick-or-Treat

*He's so happy to be riding the carousel*

*He looks like he's going to pass out!*

Even though Joe has been a little under the weather, we took him to Nick-or-Treat at the Mall of America tonight. He had a great time, but got super tired and had to come home and go right to bed! We're hoping he gets 100% better over the weekend!

Joey & Mover Dave

Joe is dressing up as 'Mover Dave' for Halloween, and he got to meet him at the Imagination Movers concert. How awesome is that?!

Joe Meets The MOVERS!!!!

*Dave & Joe dancing at the concert*
(Joe's wearing his hat because the music was so loud)

*The Imagination Movers!*

*Joey, Bella & Mallory waiting for the concert to begin*

*Joe got to meet all the Movers!*

We went to the Imagination Movers concert in Sioux Falls with our friends Jayne & Eric and their daughters. The Imagination Movers is Joey's favorite show on the Disney Channel, he watches them everyday! He is dressing up as Mover Dave for Halloween and he wore his costume to the show. We got backstage passes so we could meet the Movers after the show. It was wonderful! When we were taking our pic with them, I told Joe to tell them who his favorite Mover was and he pointed to Mover Dave and said, "I love you, Dave!". And Mover Dave gave him a big hug and they took a picture together. It was so cute! I want to go again! We had a blast!

Here's Joey singing and dancing along at the Imagination Movers concert in Sioux Falls. He had a great time!

Franconia Sculpture Park

We found a fantastic sculpture park near Taylor's Falls, MN. We had a great time exploring all the sculptures. There were even a couple that were like a playground, which Joe really liked. I recommend spending an hour here on a Saturday afternoon.

Pumpkin Train

*Dave & Joey on the pump car*

* I think he was sick of smiling for pictures*

We took a ride on the 'Pumpkin Express' in Osceola, WI. We rode the train to Dresser, WI, where we went on a hay ride, thru a hay maze, and Joe jumped in the bouncy castles. And he got to pick out his own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.
