A Trolley Ride

We surprised Joe with a ride on a real trolley today. They have trolley rides at Lake Harriet! For only $2 a ticket we had a great time riding the rails.

We headed to Lake Harriet in Minneapolis today. There were lots of sailboats and we saw a huge fish!

A New Truck

My friend, Swan, gave Joe a Power Wheels truck! What a wonderful present! He absolutely loves it. He's been riding it in the driveway almost all day. Thank you Swan!

We were hanging out in the backyard last night. All the trees have almost all their leaves back now, so the view around the lake is getting prettier everyday. You should come visit and enjoy it with us.

Last Day of School

Joe's last day of Preschool for the year was today. He told his teacher he was going to go home and cry because he was so sad. But he didn't. He had such a great year playing with new friends and learning so much. Now we've got a week off before we start our busy Summer schedule!

It's HOT!!

Well, it was 90+ degrees yesterday and today, so we had to get out the water table. Even though it's getting a little small for Joe, he still has a great time playing with it. We sat in the driveway and played until we got too hot!

We went to Como Zoo & Como Town yesterday with my friend Becky and her 2 nephews. Joe has a new BFF, Lewis! They had so much fun playing and riding the rides.

Sandbox

Finally! It's warm and summer-like! So, we went to a big park to play in the sandbox with our trucks and shovels. And, of course, we had a picnic while we were there.

Best Geo Train Yet

Here's Joe with our best Geo Train layout yet. Good thing we've got room in the basement for this massive thing! We can have all our trains and airplanes going a the same time. It's awesome. And Joe loves playing with it for hours at a time.

Mommy Cake

Joe went to Rainbow with Daddy to decorate a cake for me for Mother's Day. He did a great job. And it was quite yummy! He said he put the hearts on because he loves me.

Sculpture Garden

It was a beautiful day, so we ventured into downtown Minneapolis to the Sculpture Garden. Joe was so excited to see the spoon & cherry! It had just been on the news because they just repainted the cherry and put it back together, so he really wanted to see it.
We brought a picnic lunch and had lots of fun exploring the huge art.

We spent a few hours gardening on Saturday. We bought a new plant and lots of flowers to put in the ground. Now we're just waiting for them to grow! I'll have to post more pics in a month or two when it's all pretty!

Joe's Preschool put on their Spring Program. It was so fun. It was baseball themed. They got to hit the ball, run the bases, and sang lots of songs. Joe did a good job singing and dancing.
