Minnehaha Falls Park
We had a ton of fun today with our friends Angie & Brandon and their daugher, Ashlie. We all rode the train from Bloomington to Minnehaha Falls Park. We rented a surrey ($26/hour) that carried all 6 of us around the park. Now, these surreys may look like easy to manuever with 4 people pedaling, but it was hard! And it was so much fun! The kids had a great time sitting up front while we pedaled our hearts out up and down hills in the park. I would definitely do it again.
After all that pedaling we hiked a short distance into the park, past the waterfall, to find a small swimming area for the kids. Joe and Ashlie had a great time swimming. It was a perfect picnic spot, maybe we'll bring lunch next time.
We had so much fun, I can't wait to get to the park again. It's my new favorite place in the Twin Cities.
No Pics?
Well, it may be awhile before you see us in any more posts. Our digital camera was lost in what we're calling "The Kitchen Flood of '08". Joe flooded the kitchen with the sprayer attached to the ktichen sink. He just went to town hosing down the entire kitchen and some of the dining room. It was a wonderous mess which I'm sure he had a blast making. We hope to be back soon with more pics, so stay tuned.

Sunday Afternoon in the Park
*On his favorite thing - the tire swing!*

Joe and I took a picnic to the Hyland Park Play area today. He was a little nervous getting up so high to play, but still went down all the HUGE slides by himself. And, thankfully this time, I didn't have to climb up to get him!
Train in Arnolds Park
Joe loves watching this little clip of us riding the train in Arnolds Park, so I thought I'd share it with everyone.

Dancing
(Okay, I didn't know the video would post sideways, so just tilt your head for this one.) We went to Market Fest in Eagan tonight and we got Joe to show us his dance moves. He needs a little more practice...
