A busy Saturday: first Joe played soccer, then we headed to to Nature Center in Hastings to watch a Raptor Release and check out the apple orchard. Then we went into Hastings for lunch at the Levee Cafe, where Joe was very excited to find a model train circling the restaurant. And we even had time for a jumpy castle and a stop at the toy store. A fun day.

My awesome sister flew me out to Cali to have a fun sister's 4 day weekend & to attend the Emmy's. We had a great time going to Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier & Hollywood. We were being tourists, it was fun! (You'll find Emmy pics on my Facebook page)

1st Day of School

Here's Joe on his first day of Preschool this year. We had a Bobcat sitting the front yard waiting to do some work, so Joe thought it would be great to take his photo there too!

Soccer Saturdays

Joe is on the 'Royals' soccer team in Mendota Heights for this fall. He had his first practice/game on Saturday and he had a great time running, kicking, and learning new soccer skills.

Jeni and Jason got married in Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park on a mountain. It was beautiful! And the best part was no bears came to get us.

We went to a little park here in Eagan to feed some fish and take a little stroll thru the trees. It was beautiful!

Dakota Co. Fair

Joe and I headed to the Dakota County Fair with our friend Becky. It was SO HOT! But we still had fun seeing all the old tractors and buildings. Joe really liked seeing the projects the 4-Hers made.
