June found her dress-up box in the closet and had so much fun looking at it all. She dressed up like a ladybug and even tried on a wig. She really liked eating the hair on the wig! I can't wait until she can do it by herself!
Look at our smiley, happy girl! She is the happiest baby ever! She is now 6.5 months and crawling everywhere. She loves sticking her tongue out and exploring anything she can get her hands on.
Just after we had a week of melting, we just had to have another huge snowstorm. Ugh! These pics are from a lull in the storm when it was only half done snowing. The Twin Cities got 12-20 inches. Seriously, it can stop anytime. We ended up stuck in the house and couldn't even go to work. I am SO ready for spring!
*Our family at the Museum of Science & Industry in Chicago*
We took a road trip down to Chicago to get rid of our cabin fever. We had lots of fun exploring the city and hanging out at our hotel. It was a much needed winter break. These next few posts are more pics from our trip.
We made a stop at the Hershey Store on Michigan Avenue downtown Chicago. Joey got to be a Factory worker and made a whole bucket of candy to bring home. Yummy.
We went to see the snow sculptures at the St. Paul Winter Carnival. It wasn't sunny, so it's kinda hard to see them in the pics. But they were all super cool. Joe went thru the snow maze and all he wanted to do was play in the snow.
Here's our little Junie. She's 5.5 months old and getting ready to crawl. She's up on her hands and knees and will be scooting around the house in no time. I guess we better baby proof a few things, huh?!
*My finished product: all wrapped and ready to eat!*
I recently discovered Cake Pops. A coworker brought them to work one day and I had to make them myself. They are so yummy. I made them for the family xmas party; all individually wrapped and everything. (Yes, I do have a little cabin fever) They are now one of Joe's favorites, so they'll be popping up at our house often.
Joey got a super cool "Flight Set" that makes this awesome airplane, a rocket, a helicopter, and other stuff. He loves it. Looks like we'll be spending the afternoon building vehicles.
