Train Show

Part of Joey's 5th Birthday Weekend included a trip to Menomonie, WI for the Train Show. Grandpa & Grandma T came with us. It was lots of fun!

Blue Hair

Here are Dave and Joey with their blue hair outside of church. Joey had "Crazy Hair Night" at Rock Solid and had to wear crazy hair and pajamas this week. He thought it was lots of fun!

More Easter Fun

We headed over to West St. Paul this morning and found an Easter Egg Hunt and the Easter Bunny. We actually were looking for a different park and egg hunt, but we ended up at this one! Oh well, Joe still had a great time getting lots of candy and seeing the Easter Bunny.

Coloring Eggs

Grnadma & Grandpa S. sent us an egg coloring kit and we put it to use yesterday. Joe had a great time making the eggs all kinds of different colors.

Singing

Joey sang in church today. He loves to sing so he did great!

Bowling

We had a great time going bowling with some friends on Saturday. Joey hadn't been bowling in over a year, and he did great! He even got the highest score of all the kids. He was so happy, he asked me if he won a medal! What a silly kid.

Mom's Birthday Party

We threw my mom a surprise birthday party at John's new bar in Lake Park, IA over the weekend. She was so surprised! Thank you to everyone who drove many hours to be there for her. It was a wonderful time! Happy Birthday Mom!

We stopped at a park to check out Lake Superior while in Duluth. It was a beautiful 40 degree day! It was really cool to see the ice on the shore.

Train Museum

The Train Museum in Duluth is awesome. We got to go into lots of real trains. We really need to go back in the summer so we can go on a train ride next time.

We got Joey some ice skates since we now live a block from 2 ice rinks. We went to try them out today. He did a great job of falling down many, many, many times. Maybe a few more times and he'll be able to go a few feet without falling. And we even ended the day by falling on our face and getting a bloody lip! Good thing he still has all his teeth.

Pump It Up

I took Joey to Pump It Up in Burnsville for the first time this week. He loved it! It is such a great way to get all tuckered out. He was all sweaty when we were done. He can't wait to go back.

Baby No. 2

I got some free passes from the library for the Childrens Museum, so Joe and I headed downtown St. Paul for a few hours. He had so much fun exploring and working in the different rooms.
