Joe got his haircut and he loves to feel how soft it is in the back. But he can't feel it without sucking his thumb at the same time!

April Fools Day

It was sprinkling a little bit when we took our walk, so we brought along the umbrella. Joe LOVES holding the umbrella even though it's a bit too big for him, and it did blow away from us once!

Joe's Trip to the MAPS Museum

Dave took Joe to the MAPS Museum - the Military Aircraft Preservation Society Museum adjacent to the Akron-Canton Airport. They spent the morning checking out the planes.

The Easter Egg Hunt

Some eggs weren't hidden very well...

Others were in hard to reach places...

Some fell out of our grasp (or out of the bush!)...

But in the end...the "reward" was worth it!

St. Patrick's Day Parade

We dressed up in more green for the Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Parade downtown.

We spent part of St. Patty's Day/Dave's Birthday at the Cleveland Zoo. We all got in free for wearing green. Joe loved all the animals, but not all the smells. His favorite was the lions!

Birthday Party

Joe's friend, Cecily, turned 3! And Joe had lots of fun at her birthday party.

Over to Pennsylvania

I've been cooped up in our neighborhood too long. So Joe and I headed to Pittsburgh on a rainy day for shopping and lunch. Joe's first time to Pennsylvania.

Too Small and Too Big

Well, the Trike is too small and Joe's too big. And he just learned how to pedel! Now we'll have to find him a Big Wheel.

Snow, Snow, Melt Away

We had to take a walk thru the neighborhood on such a sunny, warm day. It's 50 degrees! We're waiting for the 16 inches of snow we got last week to melt away so we can play at the playground.
