"Who Done It?" Hike

*And we're off on our hike!*

*Up one of many hills*

*We crossed one bridge*

We went on the Lakeville "Who Done it?" Hike this morning. It was lots of fun! We were given 7 clues over the 2 mile hike, then had to figure out who the culprit was to be entered to win a prize. We guessed wrong, but still got a fun t-shirt. June LOVED riding in the backpack, and Joe only complained once about the length of the walk.

Lake City

We took a day trip this week and found a beautiful place; Lake Pepin in Lake City, MN. We had to stop and feed the ducks, look at all the boats, and check out the view.

New Dining Room Floor

*The dining room - BEFORE*

*And our new flooring - After*

I HATE HATE HATE carpet in dining rooms. I think the last 3 places we rented had carpeted dining rooms. It just does not work with little kids. The carpet gets so nasty and stained. So before the carpet we actually owned got too gross, we decided to get rid of it altogether. It looks so much better (even if we have to sweep after every meal).

Happy Birthday June!

Our baby girl turned 1! She is getting so big already. She wasn't too interested in any of it. She liked her gifts, once they were opened for her. She didn't want her cake, and she was crabby and tired. But she was so cute!

Fire Pit

Dave's been begging all summer for a fire pit, so we finally just dug a hole and put some rocks around it. Here are Dave and Joey just after they completed it, burning part of our brush pile.

New Car!

We finally traded in Dave's car that had been making noises like it was going to cost a lot to fix...so we bought a brand new 2012 Hyundai Elantra Touring. Yay!

Lego Boy

Here's Joey with most of his Legos he got for his birthday. He's been building non-stop for a few days. This kid is crazy for Legos!

More Birthday Fun with Grandma

*In the backyard*

*Having fun at Nickelodeon Universe*

*Riding the Kiddie Coaster*

Grandma T. came up to celebrate Joe's actual birthday on Tuesday. Joe got a free ride wristband on his bday, so he spent a few hours riding the rides at the Mall of America. He had a lot of fun while Grandma, Junie, and I got tired out!

Birthday Craziness & 400th Post!

*Blowing out 6 candles*

*The boys taking a break for snacks*

*Carry-the-Lego-man-on-the-spoon game*

Joey had an awesome LEGO birthday party. All the boys had a great time. Luckily, it was a warm day and we could play all our games outside.

Going for a Ride

Joey took June for her first ride in the truck today around the backyard. It was a nice warm day...about 45 degrees. Warm for us!

Dress Up!

June found her dress-up box in the closet and had so much fun looking at it all. She dressed up like a ladybug and even tried on a wig. She really liked eating the hair on the wig! I can't wait until she can do it by herself!

So Happy

Look at our smiley, happy girl! She is the happiest baby ever! She is now 6.5 months and crawling everywhere. She loves sticking her tongue out and exploring anything she can get her hands on.

More Snow

Just after we had a week of melting, we just had to have another huge snowstorm. Ugh! These pics are from a lull in the storm when it was only half done snowing. The Twin Cities got 12-20 inches. Seriously, it can stop anytime. We ended up stuck in the house and couldn't even go to work. I am SO ready for spring!
