Soccer

Joe is playing soccer this summer in Rosemount . They even had pictures taken today. He loves it! The coaches are great and keep the kids having fun.

Texas

We found lots of fun things to do in Texas! We stopped by a winery, a cool downtown restaurant, and even found some oil!

Last Day of Preschool (EVER!)

Oh, Joey's getting so big! Today was his last day of preschool. He'll be heading off to Kindergarten in the fall. The school had a bounce house for the kids then we all went for a picnic lunch at a park. We all got nice and sweaty.

Field Trip

Joe's Preschool class went on a field trip downtown Minneapolis to Orchestra Hall. They got to listen to a kids-size concert, then got to learn how to play the instruments. Doesn't he look like a natural behind that cello??? Maybe we should look into it...

A Beach Picnic

We stopped in Milwaukee at a beach on the shores of Lake Michigan. It was beautiful! We ate a picnic lunch and it was so peaceful listening to the waves and walking barefoot in the sand.

Quick Road Trip

We took a little road trip through Wisconsin, just following I-94 to Madison & Milwaukee. We saw so many fun things! We spent a lot of time in the car and Joe did pretty good. It was like a little mini vacation...when can we take a real vacation?!

Preschool Program

Joey had his last Preschool Program at school. He did a great job singing and dancing. They learned all kinds of Minnesota songs and now Joe's favorite bird is the Loon! They all painted their shirts with a walleye on them. It was so CUTE!

Softball

With Grandma & Grandpa S still here, we all went to Dave's softball game on Friday night. It was a bit chilly and Dave didn't win his game, but we still had lots of fun.

Target Field

We checked out the brand new Target Field with Grandma & Grandpa S. They loved it and so did we! We can't wait to go to a real game!

Hard Rock Cafe

Grandma & Grandpa S came to visit, so we took the train downtown and ate lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe. Yummy.

Planting Flowers

We needed some color in our front patio area, so we picked up some pots and plants and went to work. Joe was very excited to help plant the flowers and peppers. And now we have lots of pretty colors greeting us whenever we come and go.

A Stop Downtown

We stopped by the State Capitol Building this afternoon. I thought it'd be fun for Joe to walk up and down all the steps. But we only made it as far as the front steps. We only had enough change for 10 minutes in the parking meter! Ah! Joe was a little bummed we didn't get to go inside. But that just means it'll be exciting when we do go back.
